Obsolete electronic devices destined for reuse, recycle or disposal are called E-waste. Electronic recycling is our growing concern with our increasing love for gadgets and IT Boom.

What is Electronic recycling?

It's the process of recovering electronic wastes and producing a new one from the e-Waste. Electronic waste contains the various hazardous elements and thus need to be disposed off properly. As per data around 12.5% of e-waste are recycled every year, out of total landfilled.

Electronic recycling can be a challenging process. It involves various steps to run the process in a meaningful way such as:

  • Collection and transportation are the very first action in the process, where recyclers collect the e-waste and transports to the recycling plants.

  • Selling of usable product to make a new device is the last step of recycling.
